If someone had told me back when all of this started how I’d end up here, I wouldn’t believe it. My life hasn’t been a roller coaster—it’s been more like a broken elevator. You don’t know if you’re going up, down, if the doors will open, if the alarm will go off… Macarena. You’re just there, confused, slightly stressed, and hoping for the best. That’s when things got truly chaotic.
This was my final year of college.
During that year, I finally realized what I was capable of. I was starving for knowledge, and after Xtrema, I started exploring everything I could—photography being my most loyal ally. But another passion quietly showed up too: meeting artists.
We’re talking about the second half of 2017 and the first half of 2018. I was doing my social service in HR, working part-time at a photography company, going to school on Mondays, and in my very limited free time, hosting online radio on Radio Voz VIP. That’s where I had the unreal opportunity to meet and interview Mario Aguilar (yes—Instagram and YouTube receipts exist).
And somehow, between all that, I still found time to chase informal showcases, just to see if I could get one photo of an artist. That’s how my first signed album and first official artist photo happened—with Matisse and their album Por Tu Bien.
That was the moment it clicked. Photography, concerts, artists—it could all live in the same universe.
Little by little, those chaotic choices shaped the person I am now. I’ve always been someone who wants to be surprised—like a kid discovering something new. And honestly? I hope that never changes.
