After returning from Mérida, Yucatán, my path filled with things that fed me on a personal level. Growth, healing… and yes, plenty of potholes. Bad experiences, wrong turns, and detours that lasted about four years. I got lost. And somewhere in that stretch, photography slowly faded into the background of my life’s soundtrack.
But then I reconnected with an old friend—and fell back in love with the love of my life: concerts.
This chapter with live music officially restarted on March 23, when Kumbia Kings played in Reynosa. This time, I showed up as a full-on fan. No camera. No pressure. Just vibes. Exactly one week before my first festival ever—as a fan.
Between songs like “No Tengo Dinero,” “Fuego,” “Loco por Volverte a Ver,” and “Pachuco,” something clicked again.
Fun fact: Kumbia Kings was also my very first concert ever, when I was about seven years old. So yeah—life has a funny way of bringing things full circle. 🎶✨
